We have done our night vision camera tests on our YouTube channel. The camera performs as well as can be expected considering the price range. It’s by no means high-end equipment, as we don’t have the tens of thousands of pounds to spend on it. I’m sorry that you have to put up with my face in the tests, I was the only victim around at the time of testing. Though Prudence the kitten tried to get a staring role, all you can hear is her jingle ball.
Over the coming weeks, we hope to bring you some more equipment test videos, and team intro videos. Fingers crossed I can get the team to sit down and do a thirty second or longer intro video. I may need to bribe them with vegan cookies or chocolate. It would be fantastic if you can get to know us before you see us running around screaming in the dark.
New Locations
We are on the hunt for new locations to check out and research. It’s not like we have a shortage around Wales. We would like to do interesting locations that other ghost hunting shows haven’t covered. The Mini Pilot ‘Road of the Dead’ hasn’t been in any shows, we can revisit it at a later date for a full episode if there’s demand.
Fonmon Castle is our first choice for the main pilot, we are working on connections to see if we can get access for a few days later this year. Though it’s not an ancient castle, it still has an interesting history and a few scary stories from staff and visitors.
I have always wanted to go on a hunt along Fosse Way, there are many locations along the ancient road. I don’t think anyone has really looked at the road itself. A camp out at a crossroads or where they used to hang criminals might be in order. Though finding a location is proving to be tricky as most places have been developed or are tricky for Kallandra to get to.
Meetings & Workshops
Over the coming weeks, we are having lots of meetings planning the Mini Pilot, and looking at future locations. The team are also getting together so all the team can get to speed on the equipment and work out camera shyness, or overacting. We want the genuine reactions and interactions of the team, therefore workshopping with the team with equipment training is essential. We may also video some of these to offer a bit more behind the scenes footage.
